Maira studied at several prominent fashion, stylist and Fine Arts Universities in the heart of France, as well as in Brazil; Here, she honed in on her abilities in order to create the idea that Queen of York emphasizes – that each person compliments the product, not the other way around – one’s own unique style is the foundation of Queen of York’s attitude.

Inspiration for our STAN line came from life, art, and the world around us. A sheer love of sunglasses and the idea of seeing the world through a unique and inclusive lens. We’ve designed sunglasses that we’ve never been able to find or purchase – silhouettes that are sophisticated, yet simple.

Our watches were also made with these same ideas in mind. Finding a watch that emulated these emotions and feelings was not possible prior – because of this, Queen of York found an answer – with the primary motivation being to wear something that Maira always wanted to wear.

Similarly, our luggage was designed with the idea of feeling unique at an airport – while traveling – a place where hundreds, upon thousands of bags all are uniform. Our luggage is here to help you feel comfortable in your uniqueness and exclusivity – to be able to truly claim that “this is mine”.

Queen of York’s love for music is realized with our own guitar collection. Coming from our innate passion for music, and having been born from a family of music and musicians, we invite you to also experience life through the bright and acoustic sounds that come from the simple strings of a guitar – sounds often heard in Maira’s childhood from her guitar-playing father. Life itself is a trip, and it’s important to enjoy its soundtrack.
